About Redbud Development

Redbud Development, Inc. is a landscape design/build firm with a primary focus on the residential client. 

The span of our work ranges from Lake Placid to Long Island and involves nearly every level of design and construction.  Projects have been as simple as small, intimate cutting gardens to complex full property development with 18 month construction timelines.  We consider no project too big or too small providing there is an opportunity to be creative.

Redbud Development strives to build relationships with an assortment of design professionals and construction contractors in a continuing effort to provide any possible service our clients may want.

Our Core Team

Geffrey P. Redick and his wife, Karen, founded the company together.

Geff earned a B.S. degree in Landscape Architecture from Cornell University in 1993.  After graduation, he spent four years working in the Glens Falls, New York area. He then joined an award-winning landscape design/build firm on Long Island, where he broadened the scope of his knowledge significantly and attained the professional title of NYS Registered Landscape Architect. Geffrey has worked in nearly every level of the industry. He began more than 15 years ago as a laborer in a nursery field, gained hands-on experience with plant and building materials, worked with various types of machinery and is now a licensed professional.  He has a distinctive ability to communicate with both client and contractor to solve problems and get the job done. 

Karen has a B.A. degree in International Language/Business from the University of Scranton and an MBA in Finance from CUNY Baruch. Karen is the Operations Manager for the office. She has a business background that ranges from small Import/Export companies to working in Human Resources, Accounting and Finance for several large banking institutions in New York City.

Eric Rosettie joined Redbud Development in early 2007.  Eric’s education and prior work experience are particularly well suited to Redbud and make him a valuable addition to the team.  Eric earned a B.S. in Landscape Horticulture with a concentration in Landscape Design from Colorado State University and then managed his own successful landscape construction company for six years. Eric’s broad knowledge, local contacts and most of all, his positive attitude will undoubtedly help Redbud Development to grow and provide the best product and service to our clients.
